The Travellers Rest is in an idyllic setting, perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy a fine wine, several different ales straight from the cask the way ale should be served (including guest, locally produced, as well as old favourites) and a lovingly homemade sumptuous lunch or dinner made from locally sourced produce.
The Travellers Rest was a 16th Century Devonshire Coaching house that was once a regular meeting place for genteel folk whom were travelling back and forth between London and Cornwall - and it still has many of its original features today.
